To love, encourage and support each other. Help one another learn to focus on God. Jesus is our true source for joy, as it is written in John 4:14: Goals To provide group meetings and/or activities for singles ages 18 and up a chance to spend time with others and to help combat some of the loneliness that is felt at various times. Even though we might feel we are alone, we walk each day with three others: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, if we choose. The purpose of the group is to focus on what God is doing in each of our lives and how we can come together and bless others. The intent is not to become a dating or matchmaking service, or to focus on future mates but instead to concentrate on God and His glory. Plan a special event once a month. It could be anything very simple as a movie, dinner or just meeting at someone’s house for fellowship and ministry. These events will be something that everyone looks forward to going to, a time to have fun, praise God, and be with other people from your church family.
