CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 In our children's programs we incorporate praise & worship, age appropriate bible lesson, games, arts & crafts as well as puppets to achieve our goals.
People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he was indignant. He said to them, " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
Our children are taught about biblical values in daily living, to know Jesus Christ and his plan for salvation, and give guidance in developing a prayer life. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I gave to you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when your get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Dt. 6:5-9
Our children's classes are offered on Sunday mornings during preaching, and on Wednesday nights during adult bible study for children in grades K-5. Nursery is offered on Sunday mornings for infants up to 4 years old.
